Team members help the idea owner to brainstorm and build the idea into reality.

On Eventornado there are two options to invite team members to your idea page.

Option 1: If you already have someone in mind who you want to team up with, you can invite them by their email address. Simply click on the Invite Team Member button and another window will pop up where you can enter the person's email address and the role they play in the team. They will get an email inviting them to join your team. When they click the link they’re officially part of the team aka they will show on the Idea page and they will be also added to your private team channel on the Event Chat 😉.

Option 2: You can also define any roles you’re still missing. Let’s say maybe you have designers but are missing a developer. Or maybe you have a front-end developer but are missing a back-end developer. Click the Add missing role button and define the missing role. You can always choose from the default ones or you can be more specific and add a new role. For example, you choose Designer but you want to specify and add “UX Designer” as the new role.

Then, the people who still want to join the team will be able to filter you out as you have set them.

Accepting and rejecting team member requests

The new member requests will also show up on this page. If someone applies to join your team you can see the role they’re applying for, their skills, and also a short note if they choose to write one. You can then either Accept or Deny the application. Or you can reach out to them on the Event Chat to have a quick discussion. Many organizers have set a limit to the number of team members you have. So be mindful when accepting people. It’s nice to leave a polite message when rejecting a member’s request.

But, let's say you don’t have an idea and are just looking to join a team. Let’s see how to Join a Team on Eventorndao 😎
